How do I clear all the data from my Apple device?

If you are transferring the data to a new Apple device, please make sure to back up your data before erasing it!

Before clearing your data, you need to remove your iCloud:

1. Select ‘Settings’ and tap ‘iCloud’.
2. Click on your name.
3. Click on 'iCloud'.
4. Scroll down and click 'Find My iPhone'.
5. Turn Find My iPhone off.
6. Enter your Apple ID password

To clear your Apple device data:

Go to Settings and tap General > Transfer or Reset [device] > Erase All Content and Settings.

If you’ve turned on Find My [device], you may need to enter your Apple ID and password. If your device uses eSIM, choose the option to erase your device and the eSIM profile when asked.

Your device will now be ready for sale!
